We kick off this year's Enneagram Anytime Panel season with the Body Types: the 8, the 9, and the 1. These types often carry a deep, early relationship to control, autonomy, and "rightness" — whether that meant asserting themselves, disappearing into the background to keep the peace, or trying to get everything just right.
Join us to hear how that instinctual wiring shows up across a childhood and a lifetime: the 8 who learned early to take charge (or fight for space) in a world that felt unsafe to be vulnerable in; the 9 who found comfort in blending in and keeping things calm, sometimes at the cost of their own voice; and the 1 who absorbed a sense of responsibility for doing things "the right way" long before they could name why.
We'll ask how those patterns showed up at home growing up, and how they've echoed — or been consciously rewritten — now that our panelists are parents themselves. Has parenthood tested an 8's need for control, a 9's tendency to merge with their kids' needs over their own, or a 1's inner critic? And has knowing their type changed how they parent, or how they look back at their own childhood and relationships with their parents?
When: Sunday, August 2nd, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM PT
Who’s on the Panel: Types 8, 9, and 1
Cost: Donation-based — $5, $25, $50, or whatever works for you
Hosted by: Noah Gray, CLC, and Elaine Culverwell, Certified Enneagram Coach & Consultant
This is part of a three-part series exploring childhood and parenthood through the Enneagram; each Sunday features a different triad of types. Come to one, two, or all three — watching panelists speak candidly about their lived experience is one of the most powerful ways to understand the Enneagram's capacity for compassion and transformation. (Each panel must be registered for separately)
Once your donation is processed, you’ll be added to the roster for the meeting. Expect a Zoom link 10 minutes before the event begins, as well as a reminder email one day prior. Please contact us at info@enneagramanytime.com with any questions. We look forward to having you join us!
*Please note that there is a 24-hour cancellation policy for all events. Full refund provided with notice 24 hours prior to the workshop.
